The creative work is done, but what about everything else? Escape Artists co-owner and technology lawyer Marguerite Kenner walks you through all the business basics you need to set your podcast up for success.

16:15 - 17:30 Not the Same Old Story: Creating Great Narratives For Your Podcast! - Hosted by Fiona Howat (What Am I Rolling) & Naomi Clarke (Power Word Roll)
There's nothing like a really good story to help your listeners get invested, but writing an engaging narrative can be tricky and hard to maintain. Learn to become an epic storyteller in this workshop, whether you're monologuing like 'Welcome to Night Vale' or working as a team like 'The Adventure Zone', you can create a podcast that's always worth tuning in for!
About the panellists: Naomi has had a fascination with the elements of story most of her life, from fairytales in her early years to epic myth at university. Now Naomi makes audio drama podcast Power Word Roll, and helps introduce others to the power of stories via the charity No More Damsels. Fiona is an e-learning content developer at St George’s, University of London, specialising in video and audio creation and development. She is the founder and main GM for ‘What Am I Rolling?’, a twice-monthly RPG one-shot podcast which introduces different RPG systems and genres to both new and experienced players. Her passions include storytelling, podcasting and social deduction games!
